Traditional Way meet with The Modern Way

It such a long time I didn't write. Because it was holiday, so I took some rest too for writing. *Bad habit hehe

What I'm thinking right now, it's about marriage. It's not simple as I thought before, it's just not about our willingness but about how "the process" of the marriage in our own culture.

I had planned to get married this year. Actually the target was last year, but as I said that it wasn't simple as thought more over if we want to follow the traditional way.

Me and my partner already have a big faith on it. We've talked to our parents. His parents already agree about it but it's different with my parents want. Too much thinking about what the people will say about us, my family, so the process seem so complicated, more over my family still hold the traditional way.

The traditional way wants that the process of the marriage must be handled by the family, the couple who want get married don't need to take a business on it, we just need to wait. This what my parents want.

Quit different with my partner's family want. They tend too use the modern way. All the thing about our marriage planning must be handled by us, me and my partner. They submit to us about all of this, because according to them, we were going through it later.

But I believe that Allah must show us to the best way.
